Here we’ve got a strange, quirky and rather haunting set of dissonant FM (just the way I was feeling with that patch) from creating an 8 operator FM network with the Synthesis Technology E370. By using all 4 VCOs with the 2 Op FM mode then patching their outs through each other in series we get an 8 operator network that’s great for anything from soft and subtle overtones and harmonics, through musical new wave shapes to instability and noise.
