New company ‘Prok’ have heavily built on the Music Thing Modular Radio Music hardware and firmware alongside Thonk and created the first few modules in a new series of drum modules. There’s a bass drum, snare, hi hat and clap so far which are non-sample, algorithm based sounds with macro control of lots of parameters for performable modulation and manipulation alongside loading different sound presets. These fit perfectly between the small and single focussed drum modules like an 808 kick and then big “CV over everything” drum voices in the format.
