No longer sounding anything like a Bass Drum generator here’s the Steady State Fate (SSF) Entity Bass Drum Synthesiser. Patching it back on itself create some oscillating tones.

SELF PATCHED! Is a series of videos filmed back in August of 2016 (so they look a little different but that direct audio is still clean and sweet … or noisy and mega harsh as the patching dictates. The series aims to explore and educate (myself and yourselves) about how these modules and circuits behave and how we can abuse and manipulate them outside the ‘norm’ by feedback patching them back on themselves. Treat the audio as “sample fodder” pick out little hits and cuts for percussion, odd spattering horror soundtrack sound beds or long feedback tones perfect food for a sampler to play polyphonically. It’s all just with one module patched back on itself, stack cables were my friends here.
