Since getting my head around and playing around with the Control Forge from Rossum Electro-Music I’ve been having loads of fun with Satellite. It’s a standalone expressive/complex modulation source that jumps between multiple modulation ideas and disciplines. Is it a sequencer? Is it an envelope? I’d say it’s both! An 8 stage curve sequence perhaps, or random source, or multi stage envelope, or quantised pitch sequencer. It’ll do all sorts. So here’s a few patches to show off some of what it can do.
