Huge thanks to “Barlo” (@barlobarlo on Twitter) for taking the time to make a detailed and excellent set of show notes and timings. They are all copied below for those that want to skip around.
What a pleasure this was! First of all the live stream with everyone in the chat was fantastic. Lots of interaction, lots of questions and it’s got a really warm and great community feeling around it. Totally ace! Pat yourselves on the back for that one. I’m really happy to have had Nathan Moody share so much of his time with us all to chat about his set up for this Rig Rundown video. We spoke specifically about his Blue Box set up from “Études I: Blue Box” (out now) and Red Box rig from “Études II: Red Box” (out now). It was great to get his take on sound design, patching, working with rectification as distortion, the Mannequins modules, interfaces, recording chains basically everything! From ideas, inspiration and thought processes to the mechanics of his eurorack modular system and how that’s developed into something new “post releases”.
