Nathan Moody brought his latest iteration of his live set out to Seattle for Velocity back in October 2019. It includes hand built bowed and struck instruments, Ciat Lonbarde Sidrax, Tetrax and Cocoquantus alongside a series of FX pedals, iPad synths and granular samplers and a Roland TR-606. Sequencers were set aside to make way for human gestures, emotions and live looping.
For those wanting to know about the artistic intentions, approach and set up check out this video where Nathan gave us a short performance and interview with me a couple of days after the show – https://youtu.be/iJt2Tr07Fa4

Velocity was the first event large scale trade show, community and performance based from Modular Seattle and Patchwerks in (you guessed it!) Seattle, Washington on the Pacific Northwest of the USA. I worked with them as a media partner to create videos while in the USA (see DivKid’s West Coast Adventure – videos soon) sharing the event performances and workshops as well as making my own videos. There’s LOTS more to come.
