PATCH NOTES
The Defibrillator is the main focus of this patch. Based on the MS20 but with much more drive, this dual filter and VCA is great for creating distorted band pass and boosted resonant high pass basslines.
Its all being clocked, gated and sequenced by an Arturia Beatstep Pro.
I made a 4 op FM patch from the Akemies Castle and patched the A output to the Medic Modules Defibrillator in. The high pass is being modulated by the Erica Synths Black LFO being full wave rectified by the Makekko 8nu8r. Going into the lowpass and the VCA is an Intellijel Dual ADSR. There is another slow open ADSR controlling 3 operators on the Akemie (allowing the last operator to drone when filters are open).
The Sea Devil is the part of the patch that comes in after the drums hit. Its a basic subtractive patch with the B out from Akemie going into it. The high resonance and slow env with attack position complements the harsher grittier Defibrillator. The output of the Sea Devil goes into an Intellijel uVCA 2 again under the control of an ADSR.
There is also a Turing Machine controlling the feedback on the Akemie along with the mult on Operator 1. Outputs are 2 split mono channels on the Intellijel Audio Interface 2.
