As part of “DivKid’s West Coast Adventure” (more on that below) I had the chance to head down to Portland, Oregon and go see Malekko Heavy Industry and their Darkplace Manufacturing facility too. It was a pleasure to meet Josh Holley, Paul Barker, Ben Davis, Anna Sitko and the rest of the team. I had a nosy around (camera in hand for the b roll) and grabbed some footage with two different Eurorack modular systems and also the very lovely Manther! Across a couple of days I also sat down with founders Josh Holley and Paul Barker for a casual interview, learning some background as well as looking to the future.
