Here’s the new LR4 Crossover module from LA67 that is a three way crossover under voltage control. It splits the input signal into low, mid and high bands with four pole 24dB filters and it uses Linkwitz-Riley slopes to give even level, phase retention and ideal band separation. It’s an incredibly creative tool once we start breaking out input signal into stereo images with different modulating bands shifting sounds out into stereo mixing, frequency dependent crossfades feeding multiple FX, we can create multiband compression (with multiple compressors) and much more.
The Linkwitz-Riley filter works to create a a flat amplitude response around the crossover points that also remains in phase. You can read more about it here – https://bit.ly/Linkwitz-Riley
