Throughout Superbooth 2019 I heard a wide range of great sounds from the AE Modular system on the Tangible Waves booth. AE Modular is a bespoke modular format 10cm tall, with sheet MDF panels, hand printing and a range of classic bread and butter analogue, some upcoming Mutable Instruments modules in the format, the new Solina, FX and more. Modules range from around €21 to €95 a piece. Very interesting and I’m curious to hopefully try it out for myself in the future.
