FIND DAVID HERE –
After working with David Hogan on various other projects and talking modular we new straight away that with the recent arrival of an EWI (Akai Electronic Wind Instrument) into David’s set up we had to get the modular synth hooked up.
This is the first in a series of videos using the midi out from the EWI into our eurorack modular set up. Using the standard pitch and gate information as well as volume and breath control from the EWI we’ve managed to created some highly playable and expressive patches. We quickly created some modular drum hits and created a back drop before multi-layering all the parts in Cubase. Very little mixing and no FX. Just modular and EWI.
The first track is Here In A Smokey Room, arranged by D. Hogan.
As always feel free to ask questions and leave a comment.
