Here we have the fantastically musical, generative Eurorack pattern maker PROTEUS. It’s the first module from Seaside Modular and is an impressive melody maker with lots of controls to go from simple rhythmic riffs and hooks through to complex melodies. With unique parameters like sleep and patience Proteus offers lots of ways to make, store, recall and vary patterns. Proteus has been fun as a smart band mate (that doesn’t turn up late and hungover) and as the centrepiece and main element on a patch or in a more supporting role. Loads of patches, loads of music, ace!
