Here’s a selection of some of my sound design work with some of the commercial releases you can still buy. Previous work included best selling audio and patch packs for the likes of Loopmasters, Cr2 Records and Sample Magic and you can also find my patches in many hardware and software instruments too.

I worked with Elektron designing patches for the FM synthesis engine in the Digitone. There’s a range of kicks and drum hits, basses, pads in the unit for you to get started with.
Freeze Machines is a fun pack of 5 instruments and a live FX device for Ableton Live. Nick Batt of Sonic State was really digging the frozen reverb sound and as we got chatting I started to make the core effect which was expanded into a range of instruments. Check out the Sonic State demo with Nick playing around with the units building up to a lovely track you’ll have heard at the end of many Sonic State videos. The Ableton Live Instruments series was a trio of rack instrument packs that brought together devices from Ableton Live to create new instruments that offered both new sonic exploration and instruments influenced by some classic hardware instruments. The series explores drum synthesis, synthesised bass tones and a range of synthesiser instruments. They’re not clones or emulations but tributes and stylistic nobs to some vintage favourites while also exploring new processing and extended macro control for maximum playability and ease of use.
