TLDR; DivKid operates on a a zero-tracking and no-logging policy and does not intentionally collect data about you. We use analytics but your visit is anonymised, no personal data is collected and no cookie is set. However the site uses YouTube and there are links to other sites e.g. Patreon and Instagram, that will set cookies. If you email us, then we will store minimal data appropriate for managing our communications i.e your name and email address. DivKid uses one cookie to record your privacy notice acceptance.

Who we are
DivKid is owned and operated by Ben Wilson, in the UK.

General Policy
DivKid operates on a zero-tracking and no-logging policy as a matter of principle. We believe you should be free to visit our website and leave knowing no one is following you.
However, we also use YouTube and other third party services and they have different policies.
Cookies
Wherever possible we avoid setting cookies on the DivKid website.
Third Parties, e.g. YouTube set their own cookies so we have a cookie notice banner that pops up to let new visitors know about this.
Navigating to another page or clicking the ‘ok’ button let’s us know you are okay with our privacy policy.
If you do not accept our privacy policy, you should leave the DivKid website and make sure cookies are cleared from your cache.
If you accept our privacy policy, Divkid sets a cookie to store your privacy policy notice acceptance, this is just so we don’t need to keep asking you on every page.
The privacy policy notice acceptance cookie will last for 1 month unless you delete it.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on the DivKid website often include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.).
Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, including Google, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
For example, if you view any page with an embedded YouTube video, YouTube will set their tracking cookies. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube will know you have viewed content on the DivKid website.
Fonts
While Divkid uses Google Fonts, we use a third party provider (https://fonts.bunny.net/) that does not track any use of this font.
Analytics
We use a website visitor tracking system to record visitor interactions with our site so that we can make business decisions. Our tracking system does not set cookies. Your visit is anonymised and we have no way to identify you personally from the tracking data.
Communications
Comments are disabled on the DivKid website and there is no way for a visitor to interact directly with or through the website that involves providing any data.
We do not store any personal data on the website systems or servers.
The only way to interact with DivKid directly is to email us.
Alternatively you may use one of the social media services. e.g. comments on YouTube, Instagram or via Discord / Patreon. You should be aware that each of these third parties has their own terms and conditions and privacy policies.
If you email us then we will keep your data, that means the email including the content and any attachments, your name and email address for the sole purpose of our communications.
If you happen to send images attached to the email, you should avoid using images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.
We may periodically delete email data, so even though you may have a communication thread with messages you have sent us, it does not necessarily mean that we have kept a copy of these messages.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with anyone else unless we agree this is an appropriate thing to do, and will do so on a case by case basis, however we reserve the right to do so should a situation arise in which we are legally required to do so.
How long we retain your data
We do not collect and therefore do not retain any of your personal data on our website.
The only data we retain is as described in the Email section above which we may keep indefinitely.
What rights you have over your data
If you have emailed us you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
DivKid do not explicitly send your data anywhere without your express permission. Your data will only be stored on UK servers and our personal computers.
