It was great to see updates for the Meng Qi Wing Pinger which now has MIDI, additional dual 2 octave keyboard and a new black panel. When questioning Meng Qi about the panel in a recent live stream he mentioned that the panel is now black as it needs to be PCB material for the capacity touch keyboard. The unit retains the shift register based, pentatonic quantised melodic pattern generation and pinged filter cores but the addition of MIDI brings a new level of connectivity.
