Today (Thursday 23rd of April 2020) ALM Busy Circuits announced their new ‘System Coupe’ a full system of 10 ALM Eurorack modules, some of which we haven’t seen before. It’s also in the new darker grey with new coloured knob tops too.
The 3 new modules are the
- MULT – a 2hp multiple
- MILTON – line level to Eurorack boost, 1:3 buffered multiple, attenuator and 3:1 mixer
- MCF – a multimode filter in 6HP.
The system features some personal favourites such as the Tangle Quartet, Squid Salmple, Pam’s New Workout and the MCO. Overall you have a full system with MIDI integration, multi channel sampling, plenty of gates, clocks and modulation, a novel sequencer, oscillator, multimode filter, mixing and VCAs and output section. I’d love a play!
The system has an expected RRP of £1799 and is shipping now.

ANNOUNCING THE ALM SYSTEM COUPE
ALM/Busycircuits is pleased to announce the ALM System Coupe – our first complete modular synthesis system. A unique modern approach to audio production featuring pattern creation and sequencing, modulation, sampling, numerous sound sources and DAW integration combining analog and digital technologies in a unique fully patchable fun, flexible & creative environment.
Use the Coupe as a creative tool to create new original musical ideas and phrases, an enjoyable pursuit to take on travels, a flexible instrument for live sets or imaginative first, or ongoing, steps into modern modular synthesis. The System Coupe works great on its own or in partnership with your existing set up.
The Coupe consists of a powered case populated with a curated set of ALM modules – some new, some proven classics. All the modules are special editions, with grey panels, white screens, magenta and blue knobs and a custom compact 84hp case.
Unique new modules include a basic Mult, ‘Milton’ – a line level input, a buffered mult, a mixer and attenuator, and the ‘MCF’ a multimode analog filter.
